Leadership also means a long-term commitment to reliable supply to support industry growth. We have world-class halobutyl rubber production facilities that are among the most efficient in the world. We are committed to meeting industry demand through new production facilities, capacity expansions and product innovations. Examples include:

- Production facility expansions in all regions of the world, increasing our nameplate halobutyl capacity by 105% since 1995 - The introduction of new Exxcore™ DVA resin, the latest innovation for high-performance tire innerliners, which will allow us to serve this growing market out of our newest production facility - The development of next-generation halobutyl rubber, that benefits from the use of nanocomposite technology - Signature of Heads of Agreement (HOA) between Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and affiliates of ExxonMobil Chemical in 2008 to progress detailed studies for a new elastomers project at the petrochemical joint ventures at Kemya and Yanpet (Saudi Arabia). The project would establish a domestic supply of over 400 KTA of carbon black, rubber and thermoplastic specialty polymers including butyl rubber, EPDM, TPO and SBR/PBR to supply local and international markets.
